Texas Rangers Instructional League team to conclude 2022 schedule with TCU on Friday, October 14 at Globe Life Field

Arlington, Texas—The Texas Rangers 2022 Instructional League program will conclude with a game against TCU on Friday, October 14 at Globe Life Field.

Tickets for the 6:00 p.m. game are now on sale at texasrangers.com. All seats will be general admission and are priced at $10.00 in advance or $15.00 on the day of the game at the Globe Life Field Southwest Box Office.

Parking will be free in Lot R, which is located south of Globe Life Field off Stadium Drive and opens at 4:00 p.m. Fans can enter Globe Life Field through the Southwest Entrance beginning at 5:30 p.m. Concessions stands on the Lower Concourse will be open.

The Horned Frogs finished 2022 with a 38-22 record before going 2-2 in the College Station NCAA Regional which was won by Texas A&M.

The Rangers instructional leaguers opened their five-game tour of playing Big 12 and SEC schools with an 8-1 loss on Monday night at Oklahoma State. Texas will play Oklahoma in Norman tonight at 6:00 p.m. and Arkansas in Fayetteville on Wednesday at 6:00 p.m. and Thursday at 4:00 p.m. before returning to Arlington. The Instructional League program began in Arizona on September 19 and included nine games against Cactus League programs.

The manager for the Rangers’ Instructional League team will be Chad Comer, a former standout at the University of Texas-Arlington who spent the 2022 campaign as a coach with the Texas League champion Frisco RoughRiders.
