Rangers to host Houston Astros in three-game homestand, June 13-15
Arlington, Texas— The Texas Rangers will return to Globe Life Field on Monday, June 13, to begin a three-game homestand against the Houston Astros.
Games will be played on Monday, June 13 at 7:05 p.m., Tuesday, June 14 at 7:05 p.m., and Wednesday, June 15 at 1:05 p.m.
The Astros are returning to Globe Life Field for the second series this season and currently lead the Rangers in the quest for the 2022 Silver Boot. The Rangers are 2-6 in the Lone Star Series this season but remain ahead in the all-time series standings 127-115.
Before Monday’s 7:05 p.m. start, the Texas Rangers Baseball Foundation will recognize the 2022 Charley Pride Fellows on-field. The five fellows — Julian Braxton, Nyagoa Gony, Jonah McReynolds, Lucy Puente, and David Simpson III — started their front office internships on Tuesday, May 31, and will work in the organization through August 5.
The first 15,000 fans entering the ballpark will receive an Adolis García Bobblehead, presented by Choctaw Casinos & Resorts. The bobblehead captures The 2021 A.L. All-Star and Texas Rangers Player of the Year, flexing his home run strength.
The Texas Rangers are also hosting TCU Night on Monday. New head football coach Sonny Dykes will toss the ceremonial first pitch, and fans who purchase special TCU Night tickets will receive a co-branded Texas Rangers, TCU cap. Limited tickets remain at texasrangers.com/TCU.
Tuesday nights at Globe Life Field are now Family Fun Tuesdays. For all remaining Tuesday home games in 2022, fans can access significant savings on tickets, parking, and concessions. Additionally, two Texas Rangers players or coaches will be signing autographs for children 13 and under, and Golden Chick mascot Clucky will be on-site to pass out Golden Chick coupons. Also on Tuesday, the Texas Rangers are celebrating the Dallas Mavericks Western Conference Finals run with a Dallas Mavericks theme night. Mavs CEO Cynt Marshall will toss the ceremonial first pitch before the 7:05 p.m. start. Fans who purchased special tickets will receive a co-branded Rangers, Mavs Dane Dunning basketball jersey, presented by Bally Sports Southwest.
The first 22,500 fans who enter the ballpark on Tuesday will receive a copy of the Texas Rangers Yearbook, which includes features and photos of the team’s 50-year history, as well as 2022 full-page portraits of the coaches and players.

The Texas Rangers are partnering with Academy Sports + Outdoors for a Father’s Day initiative with Fort Worth PAL officers and kids. Academy will donate $250 gift cards to each child for a shopping spree at Academy Sports + Outdoors – Cityview location (6101 I-20). On Thursday, June 16 at 5:30 p.m., everyone will hit the shelves to shop for themselves and the father figure in their life. As part of the program, the Texas Rangers will host Fort Worth PAL officers, kids, and their father figures at an upcoming Rangers game.
