Cleveland, OH – The Cleveland Guardians and Liberty Ford today announced that Sue Kelly of Ashland is the winner of the Liberty Ford Grand Slam Giveaway thanks to an Andrés Giménez grand slam in the 3rd inning at Oakland on April 29.

“We are so excited for Sue to get her brand new Bronco Sport,” said Liberty Ford CEO Michael Herrick. “This has been an amazing partnership with the Guardians and Sue marks our first winner since 2015. We will have to officially ask the Guardians to no longer allow Andrés to bat in the 3rd inning moving forward.”

Kelly wins a brand new 2022 Ford Bronco Sport, courtesy of Liberty Ford. She marks the first contest winner of the Liberty Ford Grand Slam inning since September 18, 2015 when Carlos Santana hit a grand slam against Chicago-AL at Progressive Field.

“I’m so excited that Cleveland hit a grand slam in the 3rd inning and went on to beat Oakland,” said Kelly. “I’m even more thrilled that I won a Ford Bronco Sport from Liberty Ford in their Grand Slam Giveaway. I’ve entered the contest every year and my name has been drawn many times in the past – this time, the Guardians and Andrés came through clutch.”

Kelly and her family will be joining the Guardians for a game at Progressive Field on June 9 against Oakland. She will attend batting practice and take part in a meet-n-greet with Giménez and radio broadcaster Tom Hamilton.
