Red Sox recall left-handed pitcher Bailey Horn from Triple-A Worcester

BOSTON, MA—The Boston Red Sox today recalled left-handed pitcher Bailey Horn from Triple-A Worcester. He will wear number 78. The club’s active roster is now at 26.
Horn, 26, was acquired by Boston from the Chicago White Sox on April 30, in exchange for cash considerations. In 12 games with Worcester since joining the organization, the left-hander has posted a 1.69 ERA (3 ER/16.0 IP) with 19 strikeouts and a .167 opponent batting average. Originally selected by the White Sox in the fifth round of the 2020 First-Year Player Draft, the Texas native owns a 4.37 ERA (107 ER/200.0 IP) in 120 career minor league games (15 starts) with the White Sox (2021, 2024), Chicago Cubs (2021-23), and Red Sox (2024) systems.
