Red Sox 2022 Holiday Caravan delivers holiday cheer
Red Sox Players Jarren Duran, Reese McGuire, Josh Winckowski, John Schreiber Visit Patients at Boston Area Hospitals, Youth Organization
BOSTON, MA – The Red Sox delivered holiday cheer to patients at Boston-area hospitals with the 2022 Holiday Caravan last week. The two-day caravan was held on Tuesday, December 6 and Wednesday, December 7 with Red Sox players Jarren Duran, Reese McGuire, Josh Winckowski and John Schreiber.
On Tuesday, December 6, the Holiday Caravan made stops at Shriner’s Children’s Boston, Mass General Hospital for Children, and The BASE, a Roxbury based community organization that utilizes sports as a way to engage youth in a positive, success-driven culture by providing athletic training, coaching, competition, and academic support.
The Holiday Caravan continued on Wednesday, December 7 with stops at Boston Children’s Hospital and Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. Wally and his sister Tessie wrapped up the caravan with a surprise visit to students at the Hurley K-8 School in Boston.
