The Pittsburgh Pirates have added catcher Jason Delay and left-handed pitcher Rob Zastryzny to the active roster. To make room on the 40-man roster, left-handed pitcher Jarlín García has been placed on the 60-day injured list (injury to nerves in upper left arm) and outfielder Ryan Vilade has been designated for assignment. Right-handed pitcher JT Brubaker has been placed on the 15-day injured list (retro to March 27) with right elbow discomfort. Right-handed pitcher Robert Stephenson has also been placed on the 15-day injured list (retro to March 27) with right elbow inflammation.
