Pirates return home to PNC Park for the first time in 2021

April 7th, 2021

The Pittsburgh Pirates return to PNC Park for the first time this season and the organization has worked tirelessly to plan for the return of fans to PNC Park. The Club will begin the season with a nearly 25-percent capacity for games, with seating pods of two and four strategically placed throughout the ballpark.

The return to PNC Park begins with Opening Day, presented by Highmark Health and Allegheny Health Network, a 1:35 first pitch vs. the Chicago Cubs. All fans will be able to enter the ballpark beginning at 12 p.m. There are a number of gates and areas closed throughout the ballpark and fans are asked to enter at the recommended gate on their ticket. The Opening Day pregame is scheduled to begin at approximately 1 p.m. and fans are encouraged to be in their seats early to ensure they do not miss a moment of the special ceremonies.
