Phillies sign two additional 2023 Draft selections

Club signs all 18 of its draft selections and five additional non-drafted free agents

The Phillies have signed two additional selections from the 2023 MLB Draft: right-handed pitcher Brandon Beckel (12th round) and outfielder Bennett Pierce (20th round), the club announced today.

Below are the 18 players selected and signed by the Phillies in this year’s draft:

Additionally, the Phillies have signed right-handed pitcher Chase Hopewell (University of Cincinnati, OH), catcher Louis Albrecht (Central Arizona College, AZ), right-handed pitcher Braydon Tucker (Lipscomb University, TN), infielder Trent Farquhar (Michigan State University, MI) and right-handed pitcher Trey Dillard (Texas A&M University, TX) as non-drafted free agents.

As previously announced on July 18, the club also signed infielder Keaton Anthony (University of Iowa, IA) and right-handed pitcher Hunter Loyd (Campbell University, NC) as non-drafted free agents.
