What’s Happening this Week: Phillies vs. Orioles, July 24 – 26

MLB Central Celebrates their 750th Show with Ceremonial First Pitch; Plus, Kyle Schwarber Honors Neighborhood Heroes, Phillies Ballgirls Christmas in July Toy Drive, German Heritage Celebration and Strikeout the Stigma!

On July 24-26, the Phillies have a three-day matchup against the Baltimore Orioles, who will be making their only appearance this season at Citizens Bank Park. Here’s a look at some of the fan highlights surrounding the games:

  1. The series begins on Monday, July 24, with the Phillies playing the Orioles at 6:40 p.m.
  • As part of the team’s Summer of Giving presented by The GIANT Company, outfielder Kyle Schwarber will host a meet and greet with the Philadelphia Police Foundation during batting practice. The special visit is through Schwarber’s Neighborhood Heroes community ticket program, where Schwarber and his wife, Paige, thank front line heroes and responders for their service.
  • Plus, former Phillie Kyle Gibson will be presented on-field with his 2022 NL Championship ring by Managing Partner and Chief Executive Officer John Middleton and President of Baseball Operations David Dombrowski.
  • It’s also Miller Lite Monday! Fans 21 and older are invited to stop by Miller Lite Liberty Landing (lower level of the left field scoreboard) for a headband with the purchase of a Miller Lite, while supplies last.
  1. The 6:40 p.m. game on Tuesday, July 25, features the Phillies Ballgirls Christmas in July Toy Drive!
  • The Phillies Ballgirls will collect new and unwrapped toys at the entrance gates to benefit local organizations dedicated to improving the lives of children.
  • Enjoy holiday tunes by the Cartoon Christmas Trio outside of Pass and Stow.
  • The national anthem will be sung by Classic Carolers.
  • Be on the lookout for Santa Claus, who will dance with the Phillie Phanatic in the 5th and 7th
  1. On Wednesday, July 26, children 14 and under will receive an MLB Network Cap at that night’s 6:05 p.m. game. Highlights also include the Strikeout the Stigma and 13th Annual German Heritage Celebration Theme Night
  • In honor of its 750th show on MLB Network that morning, MLB Central hosts Mark DeRosa, Lauren Shehadi and Robert Flores will throw the ceremonial first pitches.
  • Franklinville-Schwarzwald Männerchor will sing German TTBB music outside Pass and Stow and the national anthem on-field. Plus, in-game_accordion_ music will be provided by Don Bitterlich, who is also a Temple Sports Hall of Famer.
  • To help honor the German community, there is a special Theme Night ticket that features a $6 discountoff the regular price of tickets in select locations.
  • Limited tickets remain for Strikeout the Stigma, a special pregame event focused on the “Relationship Between Physical and Mental Health” and dedicated to bringing important conversations surrounding mental health to the forefront.

  • Bag Policy: Guests are prohibited from bringing bags, including backpacks, to the ballpark. Only clutch purses (5" x 7"), fanny packs, medical bags, drawstring bags, clear or solid tote bags and diaper bags will be permitted. Medical bags, tote bags and diaper bags can be no larger than 16" x 16" x 8". Guests may discard or return the prohibited items to their vehicle or store them in a locker on Citizens Bank Way ($10 fee).
  • Uber RideShare Lot: Lot T is designated for Uber RideShare for all Citizens Bank Park and Wells Fargo Center events. Fans should exit the Third Base Gate and walk along Pattison Avenue toward Broad Street to enter the lot and request a vehicle, which will meet each rider in the designated area.
