The Padres return home from their 10th road trip of the 2024 season to start their 11th homestand as the club continues to celebrate Petco Park’s 20th Anniversary. The three-day, three-game stretch begins today when the Pittsburgh Pirates come to town. With large crowds anticipated, fans are encouraged to arrive early and consider utilizing the Trolley, COASTER or ride share to America’s #1 Ballpark. With just four homestands remaining in the regular season, the Padres are calling on all fans to come cheer on the Padres at Petco Park as the team makes a push for the postseason.
In honor of the 25th anniversary of Tony Gwynn’s 3,000th career hit, the first 40,000 fans in attendance on Monday will receive the Gwynn Henley Jersey, presented by SERVPRO. The jerseys will be available in sizes Youth Large, Adult Medium, Large, XL and 2XL on a first-come, first-served basis (no exchanges).
Bark at the Park #4 presented by Petco takes place Monday. Fans who purchased a dedicated Theme Game ticket package will be able to enjoy the game with their favorite canine, participate in a pregame track walk on the field and receive an item for their pet (Theme Game Package SOLD OUT).
During Monday’s pregame ceremonies, the Padres will celebrate nine students selected for the Tony Gwynn Community All-Star Program. The program, which was inspired by Tony Gwynn’s leadership within the San Diego community, his devotion to the city, and his Hall of Fame playing career, recognizes and honors local San Diego youth that embody Gwynn’s dedication to supporting their local community. High school students were eligible to apply for the grant so long as they were currently involved in working with a local non-profit in support of underserved segments throughout the San Diego community.
Tuesday, August 13 VS. Pittsburgh Pirates @ 6:40 p.m.
In community partnership with the Filipino community of San Diego, the Padres are celebrating Filipino Heritage Celebration #2 at Petco Park Tuesday (Theme Game Package SOLD OUT).

There will be a baseline ceremony with lifeguards and paramedics/EMTs representing local, state and federal agencies, and nine lifeguards and paramedics will take the field with Padres starters prior to the game.
Season Ticket Members are encouraged to arrive early on Tuesday to watch the Padres take batting practice prior to the game. Members can enter through East Village Gate as early as 3:00 p.m., with select Members receiving a credential to sit in designated seating closer to the field. Custom Rawlings baseballs with golden stitches will be mixed in during Padres batting practice, and the lucky fans who catch or retrieve the golden balls will be able to redeem them for a replica Padres jersey of their choice at the Padres Team Store.
