Padres announce 2024 giveaway, promotional and theme game schedule
Single-game tickets go on sale Tuesday, February 6
SAN DIEGO – The San Diego Padres today announced their 2024 promotional schedule including giveaways, theme games, and events every homestand. Single-game tickets for 2024 regular season home games go on sale Tuesday, February 6 at 10:00 a.m. PST by visiting www.padres.com. Season Ticket Members have priority access to tickets and enjoy the best available seats. Due to franchise-record-demand for Season Ticket Memberships, a small number of additional 2024 Season Ticket Memberships are available now for a limited time only.
There are 16 all-fan giveaways planned for 2024 highlighted by fan favorites, player-themed items, bobbleheads, high-quality wearables and special moment celebrations, all of which will take place during select home games throughout the season, limited to the first 40,000 fans in attendance. There will be four different styles of hats this year, including a Padres Opening Series Hat (Sycuan Casino Resort), Knit Beanie with Removable Pom (SDG&E), ’84 Throwback Hat (San Diego Community Power) celebrating the 40th anniversary of the 1984 World Series team, and a Tatis Jr. City Connect Bucket Hat (UC San Diego Health). Several items will feature the Padres’ pink and mint City Connect colors, including City Connect Poncho (97.3 The Fan) that can also be used as a blanket, Manny Machado Collectible Pin (Canel’s), City Connect Belt Bag (University of San Diego), and a City Connect Hoodie (Southwest Airlines). Reimagined fan favorites and new items include Joe Musgrove Basketball Jersey (Motorola), 619 Aloha Shirt (Jack in the Box), and a 1999 Tony Gwynn Henley (SERVPRO) in honor of the 25th anniversary of Gwynn’s 3,000th career hit. Padres player bobbleheads are also back this season with five different bobbleheads featured, including a Manny Machado Home Run Bobblehead (QuidelOrtho), Joe Musgrove and Dog Theo Bobblehead (Petco), Xander Bogaerts Bobblehead (Coca-Cola), Ha-Seong Kim Bobblehead (COX), and Tatis Jr. Platinum Glove Bobblehead (Canel’s). On two special Sundays, the first 8,000 kids in attendance will receive a kid giveaway item (available for children 14 and younger) including a Rookie Plush Pillow (Petco) and Padres Tin Lunchbox (Chick-fil-A). The Jersey, Aloha Shirt, Henley and Hoodie will be available in family-friendly sizes (Youth Large, Adult Medium, L, XL and 2XL), and the City Connect Poncho and Bucket Hat will have both adult and youth sizes available while supplies last with sizing subject to availability. Pregame happy hours return in 2024 in the newly renovated and transformed Gallagher Square with each Friday night home game featuring a Party in the Park presented by Southwest Airlines. The final homestand will feature Fiesta in the Park presented by Verizon, as part of Hispanic Heritage Weekend presented by Blue Shield of California. Party in the Park is a pregame happy hour series located in Gallagher Square beginning when gates open (approximately two hours prior to first pitch) with drink specials starting at $5, live entertainment, and other fun activities. The fun continues each Saturday home game with the Padres House Band returning for pregame performances on the Sycuan Stage in Gallagher Square. Whether relaxing on the new terraced grass or sitting at the tables on the new Tony Gwynn Terrace, fans will enjoy live music featuring a mix of rock, oldies, pop and country music throughout Gallagher Square beginning two hours prior to first pitch. Aerial displays will continue to illuminate the downtown skyline in 2024 with postgame fireworks following two night games as well as the first-ever postgame drone show celebrating Petco Park’s 20th Anniversary taking place on the first Monday game of the opening homestand.
Sundays at Petco Park are perfect for the entire family as KidsFest, presented by SDG&E, is back and features bounce houses, inflatables, games, face painters, balloon artists and other kid-friendly activities two hours before first pitch in Gallagher Square, which will feature a greatly expanded and renovated playground and all-new Play Ball field. After most Sunday games, kids can also participate in Kids Run the Bases. Sundays will also continue to serve as Military Appreciation Days presented by USAA where the Padres will recognize the men and women serving our country. Select Sundays throughout the season will have a dedicated Salute recognizing different branches, milestones, and military history. The Padres are proud to offer a variety of special value offerings for the military and first responders, including ticket discounts through GovX verification for the military (25 percent off tickets on Sundays and 10 percent off all other days) and first responders (25 percent off tickets on designated First Responder Appreciation Days and 10 percent off all other days).
Theme Games also return in 2024 with a new lineup featuring Hello Kitty and a Player Pin Series along with popular returning collaborations with Harry Potter™ and a dedicated STAR WARS™ theme game package as part of STAR WARS™ Weekend from July 5-7. Various heritage nights will also be held throughout the season. Designed to enhance the fan experience and celebrate the diverse community throughout our binational region, Theme Games will feature pop culture, social, heritage, community, family, and awareness-based themes. Each Theme Game includes a ticket to the designated game, as well as a limited-edition item and/or experience, and are exclusively available through a special Theme Game package at www.padres.com/themegames.
