Washington Nationals Homestand Highlights vs. Baltimore Orioles (May 21–23), Cincinnati Reds (May 25–27) & Milwaukee Brewers (May 28–30)
Coming off a two-city road trip, the Nationals return home to D.C. for an exciting nine-game homestand, kicking off with the Beltway Series presented by Inova when the Baltimore Orioles visit Nats Park, followed by Sean Doolittle and the Cincinnati Reds, and finally closing out the homestand with the Milwaukee Brewers, who will visit Nationals Park for the first time since the 2019 National League Wild Card game.
Single-game tickets are now available to the general public for every home game between May 21 and 30, when Nationals Park will operate at 36% capacity. Tickets start at $14 and fans interested in purchasing tickets in pods of 1-6 people should visit nationals.com/Tickets2021.
In response to the Mayor’s announcement on Monday regarding mask requirements in the District of Columbia, the Washington Nationals will be changing the face covering policy at Nationals Park starting this homestand. Ticketed fans who are not fully vaccinated will be required to wear an approved face covering at all times except when actively eating or drinking in their seats. Fully vaccinated fans – meaning two weeks past the final shot – will be able to attend the upcoming games without wearing an approved face covering. This applies to all fans regardless of sitting indoors or outdoors. Fans can visit nationals.com/WelcomeHome for information regarding acceptable face coverings at the ballpark.
The fourth homestand of the season features a Kids Travel Pillow giveaway presented by Harris Teeter and the second game of the Patriotic Series on the Sunday before Memorial Day. The promotional schedule for May can be viewed at nationals.com/Promotions.

o Nationals Philanthropies is also auctioning off authentic signed and game-worn Nationals jerseys from Jackie Robinson Day, with proceeds benefitting the Nationals Youth Baseball Academy and the Jackie Robinson Foundation.
§ Over 40 players and coaches jerseys are available to bid on. Many of the jerseys are game-worn from either the April 15 game vs. Arizona Diamondbacks or the April 23 game at New York Mets.

Librarians from Prince George’s County Memorial Library System and Fairfax County Public Library, the preferred library partners of Josh Bell’s Book Club, will co-host and guide the monthly discussions along with Josh, and special guests may also join.
o Anyone interested in taking part in the discussion will be able to register about two weeks prior to the event each month.
§ The first book club discussion will take place on Sunday, May 23 via Zoom from 7 to 8 p.m. and will discuss The Mental Game of Baseball: A Guide to Peak Performance by H.A. Dorfman and Karl Kuehl.

MONDAY, MAY 31
- Schwarber’s Neighborhood Heroes
o As a son of a decorated police chief and part of a family with a long history of first responders and military service, Nationals outfielder Kyle Schwarber recognizes the unique sacrifice first responders and their families make. In 2017, Schwarber launched Schwarber’s Neighborhood Heroes, a program created to recognize, honor, and thank first responders for their commitment to others.
o Throughout the 2021 season, Kyle is committed to delivering this message of gratitude at a one-on-one level. Whether virtually or potentially in person later in the year, Kyle will meet with first responder families and recognize individual first responder achievement.
§ Since the team is not home on Memorial Day this year, to honor the military personnel who made the ultimate sacrifice, Kyle will host members from TAPS (Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors) and their families at Nationals Park to watch batting practice and hold a meet-and-greet on Friday, May 21.
