Top Prep Players From 16 States Across the Country to Compete in Showcase Game, Which Will Stream LIVE on MLB.com and Re-Air on MLB Network on August 17th

All-American Teams Will Be Coached by MLB Scouts and Former Major Leaguers, Including Howie Kendrick and Brian Hunter

Major League Baseball, USA Baseball, and Area Code Baseball today announce the roster of prep players competing in the High School All-American Game at Petco Park, home of the San Diego Padres, on Wednesday, August 14th at 6:30 p.m. PT. This premier showcase of high school baseball talent, all of whom are graduating in 2025, will feature players from 15 states across the country, including players from the MLB Develops’ Breakthrough Series team, participants in last week’s Area Code Games in Long Beach, CA, and members of USA Baseball’s 18U National Team. The game, which will stream LIVE on MLB.com and the MLB app, will re-air nationwide on MLB Network at 11:00 a.m. ET on Saturday, August 17th. The game will be called by Gregg Caserta, former Major League pitcher Ryan Rowland-Smith, MLB Pipeline’s Jonathan Mayo and Sande Charles.

The teams will be coached by former Major League players, notably managed by Howie Kendrick and Brian Hunter, and MLB Club Scouts. The full list of coaches is as follows:
