MLB announces national broadcast coverage of 2024 Special Event Games on FOX & ESPN
Special games in U.S. feature tribute to Negro Leagues at Rickwood Field & Little League Classic from Williamsport; MLB World Tour 2024 Games include Opening Series in South Korea, return to Mexico City & London Series
Major League Baseball today unveiled national broadcast coverage for special event games during the 2024 regular season. These highly anticipated matchups will be showcased on FOX and ESPN, expanding their longstanding partnerships with the League.

The first-ever Major League games in South Korea will be televised by ESPN (out of market) on Wednesday, March 20, and Thursday, March 21 when the Los Angeles Dodgers face the San Diego Padres to open the 2024 regular season as part of MLB World Tour 2024. ESPN will highlight the next international series on the MLB schedule with exclusive coverage of the Sunday, April 28 matchup between the Colorado Rockies and the Houston Astros from Mexico City. Saturday’s Mexico City Series game will have local distribution in each market.
FOX Sports and ESPN will once again present exclusive coverage of the 2024 London Series with National League East rivals squaring off in historic London Stadium. FOX will have the first game between the Philadelphia Phillies and New York Mets on Saturday, June 8 and ESPN will broadcast the finale of the two-game series on Sunday, June 9.
On Thursday, June 20, FOX Sports presents exclusive coverage of MLB at Rickwood Field. The historic contest between the St. Louis Cardinals and San Francisco Giants will take place at the oldest professional ballpark in the United States and serve as a tribute to the Negro Leagues.
ESPN will exclusively televise its sixth MLB Little League Classic on Sunday Night Baseball when the New York Yankees meet the Detroit Tigers on Sunday, August 18 from Williamsport, PA – home of the Little League World Series.
