In addition to former Major Leaguers appearing throughout All-Star Village, a number of former softball stars, MLB Youth Ambassadors and notable names in youth baseball are again joining the league at Capital One PLAY BALL PARK to lead young people through a variety of formal and informal clinics and games on the numerous diamonds inside Choctaw Stadium. PLAY BALL PARK will fill the stadium with a variety of diamonds, batting cages, pitching tunnels and hitting exhibition attractions like Home Run Derby, where youth can try hitting balls into the stands. Also new at PLAY BALL PARK this year is SwingMatch from Diamond Kinetics, a Trusted Youth Development Platform of MLB. SwingMatch leverages computer vision technology paired with MLB game content to create a simple, fast and fun experience where kids see which MLB All-Star they swing like. With Capital One PLAY BALL PARK located in Choctaw Stadium, fans have the opportunity to play ball on the same ground that the Texas Rangers played on for 25 years.
