MIAMI – The Miami Marlins and CITY Furniture have renewed their partnership built on a shared commitment to the South Florida community and providing a first-class experience for all guests. The partnership distinguishes CITY Furniture as the Official Furniture and Mattress Provider of the Miami Marlins.

With CITY’s 5% Giving Pledge [which dedicates a minimum five percent of net profits annually to communities], we are proud to support our youth and honor our veterans, active military and first responders.”

CITY Furniture’s commitment will launch the Miami Marlins Youth Academy Tee Ball Fall Season, providing local youth the opportunity to play! The inaugural fall season will feature 50 teams across Miami-Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach Counties.

The initiative has grown the game across South Florida by alleviating some of the league costs while also providing team shirts, hats, and equipment to recreational Tee Ball programs. The current 2022 Spring Season features 243 teams from Monroe, Miami-Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach counties playing across 25 leagues, nearly twice the amount of teams since the inaugural Spring Season in 2019.

Additionally, the partnership will honor local heroes with the Miami Marlins Foundation Impact Moments Hero of the Game. During each Monday home game of the Marlins season, the Marlins and CITY Furniture will celebrate members of the US armed forces (active, retired & veterans). The program aims to recognize the Hero of the Game and celebrate their selfless service to our country. Honorees will receive a VIP experience, a personalized jersey and a photo with Billy The Marlin.

The Marlins will return Salute & Serve Days for the 2022 season, which celebrate active and retired military personnel, veterans, fire rescue personnel, members of the police department and health care professionals and provide these individuals with two complimentary tickets.
