Mets name Andrew Grossman as chief growth officer

FLUSHING, N.Y., May 28, 2024 - The New York Mets announced today that Andrew Grossman has been appointed as the organization’s first Chief Growth Officer and a member of the executive leadership team.

In this position with the Mets, Grossman is responsible for leading new initiatives that drive incremental revenue growth, deepen engagement with our fans and improve organizational effectiveness. Grossman will report directly to M. Scott Havens, President of Business Operations in this role.

Grossman most recently served as the Head of Corporate Strategy and Chief of Staff to the CEO at Bloomberg Media, Bloomberg L.P.’s global consumer media business. At Bloomberg, Grossman collaborated with senior leadership to answer critical strategic questions about digital advertising, consumer subscriptions, live events, and the future of news. During his tenure, Bloomberg Media saw significant revenue growth across its business lines.

Prior to his time with Bloomberg, Grossman was a Senior Manager at PayPal Inc., where he led projects that gave senior leadership insights into consumer behavior and market dynamics. Grossman also previously drove organizational transformations and advised on corporate strategy as a management consultant at Bain & Company. He began his career as a reporter at the Wall Street Journal in New York and Washington.

Grossman is a graduate of the University of Michigan with a BA in History and received an MBA in finance from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
