MIAMI – The Miami Giants will take the field at Marlins Park on Sunday, August 16 as the Miami Marlins will don throwback uniforms in celebration of the 100th anniversary of the Negro Leagues. Joining the celebration will be Robert Paige, son of Satchel Paige, who will throw out the virtual ceremonial first pitch, and Julian Syphax, a 93-year old American hero and South Florida resident who will make the ceremonial “play ball” announcement.
