Mariners to unveil 2023 All-Star logo at July 22 game against the Houston Astros
First drone light show in T-Mobile Park history, fireworks and more to celebrate the 2023 MLB All-Star Game coming to the Pacific Northwest
The Mariners will start the countdown to the 2023 All-Star Game in Seattle on Friday, July 22, as the club unveils the new All-Star logo ahead of the first pitch. Fans attending this monumental event will not only get a first look at the logo but will have the first opportunity to check out 2023 All-Star gear including caps, apparel, souvenirs, and a limited-edition pin.
“We can’t wait to host the 2023 All-Star Game in our hometown. This is an incredible opportunity for our fans and our community to join us as we show all that the Pacific Northwest has to offer,” said Catie Griggs, Seattle Mariners President of Business Operations. “This is only the beginning of what fans can expect to see as we get closer to next summer.”
Before first pitch, fans arriving early will have the opportunity to find autographed baseballs of past and present All-Stars scattered throughout the ballpark in a pregame scavenger hunt. Former 2001 Mariners All-Stars Bret Boone and Mike Cameron will be throwing out the ceremonial first pitch and Seattle’s own The Head & the Heart will be performing the national anthem.
Once the game concludes, fans can enjoy a mid-summer firework spectacular, and T-Mobile Park’s first drone light show powered by T-Mobile’s 5G network. 250 drones will come together during the fireworks show to create signature Seattle baseball-themed visuals. T-Mobile’s industry-leading 5G network will transmit critical flight information to and from the drone command center, including flight paths for the choreographed aerial formations and live telemetry data so pilots can monitor performance along with the precise location of each drone.
