LOS ANGELES (Sept. 26, 2024) – The 11^th annual Los Angeles Dodgers Foundation Sunset Run, presented by UCLA Health and Los Angeles Department of Water and Power (LADWP), will take place on Saturday, Sept. 28, 2024. The run returns in an all-new one-day format where Dodger fans and community runners can participate in a Health + Wellness Expo featuring a variety of vendors, enjoy the thrill of running, and hit the field for a guided yoga session, all against the iconic backdrop of Dodger Stadium.

Race day will feature the signature 5K, 10K, Kids Fun Run, and Yoga on the Field events in and around Dodger Stadium. Nearly 30,000 fans and participants will be in attendance for the ultimate Los Angeles Dodgers fan experience, including 1,300 young women from the nonprofit organization Students Run LA (SRLA). The organization is partnering with LADF to use the 5K event to help its at-risk middle and high school students train for the Los Angeles Marathon as part of a larger mission to expose youth to the benefits of physical activity, goal-setting, character development and more.

“For the last 11 years, the Los Angeles Dodgers Foundation Sunset Run has been at the heart of Dodger fandom, advancing our mission to tackle the more pressing problems Angelenos face,” said Nichol Whiteman, CEO of the Los Angeles Dodgers Foundation. “Every registration helps us create lasting change in our city, ensuring everyone has the opportunity to thrive.”

Net proceeds of the LADF Sunset Run will support programs the Foundation runs and funds that level the playing field and invest in solutions driven by the youth and communities it serves. This vital funding ensures that LADF can make a lasting impact in Los Angeles. Over 2,400 youth and nonprofit partners will participate in this year’s run at a reduced rate or no cost.

In-person participants and spectators at Dodger Stadium will enjoy incredible sunset views of Downtown L.A.’s iconic skyline and Centerfield Plaza. Courses feature live music from the Mighty Marching Pilots of Banning High School, Inglewood High School Marching Band, Woodcraft Rangers Folklorico at State Street Elementary, DJs throughout, and a cool-down lap on the Dodger Stadium warning track.

Dodger Alumni will be on-hand for photo opportunities, autographs, and to cheer on and congratulate runners as they cross the finish line. All registered runners will receive a Dodgers ’24 tech shirt, finisher’s medal, race bib with chip timing, and a Joe Kelly limited edition Run bobblehead.

UCLA Health and Los Angeles Department of Water and Power return as presenting sponsors. Weekend sponsors include San Manuel Band of Mission Indians and Golden Road Brewing, returning as a weekend sponsor, which will once again provide a Beer Garden for runners 21 and older. The 2024 Health + Wellness Expo vendors include UCLA Health, LADWP, Health-Ade Kombucha, Beam Suntory, Coaches Oats, Levelwear, Los Angeles Dodgers Membership, LA Kings, Los Angeles Rams, PlayLA, Science of Sport, Dodgers Training Academy, Beverly Hills Orthodontics, Generic Events, Homeboy Industries, Hot8 Yoga and Prime Hydration.

Registered runners are encouraged to pick up their race packets on race day between 3:00 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. in the Centerfield Plaza, where the Health + Wellness Expo will be open.
