DODGERS WELCOME CARDINALS AND PHILLIES DURING SIX-GAME HOMESTAND
Dodger icon Manny Mota to be inducted into the Legends of Dodger Baseball, presented by Bank of America on Saturday night
LOS ANGELES – The Dodgers return to Los Angeles tomorrow following a 4-3 road trip to Chicago and Pittsburgh and welcome the St. Louis Cardinals (April 28 – 30) and Philadelphia Phillies (May 1 – 3) to Dodger Stadium. Tickets remain on sale for all six games of the homestand and can be purchased at Dodgers.com/Tickets.
Fans are in for a fun weekend series against the St. Louis Cardinals, as the three- game set kicks off on Friday at 7:10 p.m. with UCLA Night presented by UCLA Health and Friday Night Fireworks, presented by California Pizza Kitchen. On Saturday, the Dodgers will induct Manny Mota into the Legends of Dodger Baseball, presented by Bank of America, a distinction awarded to Dodger greats and their impact on the organization, both on and off the field. Mota has become a historic staple of the Dodger franchise as a player, coach and broadcaster, and was inducted into the Latino Baseball Hall of Fame in 2022. Mota will be presented with a plaque that will become a permanent fixture at Dodger Stadium in the Centerfield Plaza. Fans attending the game with take home a Manny Mota bobblehead, presented by Bank of America, commemorating the induction. The Los Angeles Dodgers Foundation (LADF) will be donating over 12,000 items, including baseball uniforms, t-shirts, and hats to MotasFaces, whose primary mission is to help the children of the Dominican Republic who need it most.
As the calendar turns to May, the Dodgers will host the Philadelphia Phillies for a three-game series, starting with a 7:10 p.m. game and a stadium wide giveaway of a Dustin May bobblehead, presented by Security Benefit. The Dodgers will also host LAFC night and celebrate the club’s 2022 MLS Cup victory. Fans from galaxies near and far, far away who purchased a special ticket pack will take home a one-of-a-kind beanie as the team celebrates Star Wars Night on Tuesday. The homestand will wrap up with a mid-day 1:10 p.m. game against the Phillies and the season’s first Viva Los Dodgers festival, sponsored by Spectrum and Budweiser, will be held in Centerfield Plaza.
The Los Angeles Dodgers Foundation (LADF) conducts it’s 50/50 raffle at every home game and fans can purchase tickets from uniformed ticket sellers wearing pink aprons or at stationary kiosks located throughout the concourses at Dodger Stadium. Fans can stop by the LADF Homebase in Centerfield (next to CPK) to purchase bomber jackets, $15 t-shirts, bobbleheads and autographed memorabilia. LADF is a proud funding partner for the LA2050 Grants Challenge and are encouraging Dodger fans to stop by their Homebase to cast their vote for the issue areas that will receive funding, from homelessness to park access to many others.
