Dodgers unveil second half of promotional schedule and special event calendar

LOS ANGELES – The Los Angeles Dodgers recently unveiled the remaining promotional items and special event dates for the 2023 regular season. Promotions will be given out to the first 40,000 ticketed fans in attendance, while supplies last, at the guest's first point of entry, unless otherwise noted at dodgers.com/promotions.

Current Dodger players and your favorite Dodger legends are in no short supply over the second half of the schedule, starting with a Gavin Lux bobblehead, presented by Security Benefit on July 3 vs. the Pirates. Following that, All-Star pitcher Tony Gonsolin will get a bobblehead, presented by 76 on July 6 vs. the Pirates. A Max Muncy bobblehead, presented by Budweiser, takes place on July 25 against the Blue Jays and a special Legends of Dodger Baseball Orel Hershiser bobblehead, presented by Bank of America will be given out on July 29 vs. Cincinnati. Finally, a Topps trading card giveaway on July 30 vs. the Reds will round out the July promotional items. On Aug. 1 vs. the A’s, Dodger fans can pick up a Tommy Lasorda 1988 World Series ring replica, presented by Security Benefit. The giveaway is part of the 35th anniversary celebration of the 1988 World Champions. On Aug. 3 vs. Oakland, fans will receive a Hello Kitty bobblehead and then on Aug. 10 against the Rockies, there will be a special Caleb Williams Heisman Trophy bobblehead. The weekend of Aug. 11-13 vs. the Rockies, the Dodgers will be celebrating Fernando Valenzuela each game, starting with his jersey retirement ceremony, presented by Yaamava’ Resort and Casino at San Manuel on Friday night Aug. 11. Fans can take home a Fernando bobblehead, presented by Yaamava’ Resort and Casino at San Manuel on Aug. 12 and round out the celebration on Sunday, Aug. 13 with a Fernando Valenzuela 1981 replica World Series ring, presented by Yaamava’ Resort and Casino at San Manuel. The hits keep coming in the Dog Days of August as the club will giveaway a J.D. Martinez bobblehead, presented by Chef Merito on Aug. 16. vs. the Brewers, a LeBron James “King James” bobblehead on Aug. 19 vs. the Marlins, a Chris Taylor bobblehead, presented by Spectrum on Aug. 29 vs. the Diamondbacks and a special rookie two-fer bobblehead of James Outman and Miguel Vargas, presented by Budweiser on Aug. 31 vs. the Braves. September doesn’t disappoint as there will be an Austin Barnes bobblehead, presented by Yaamava’ Resort and Casino at San Manuel on Sept. 2 vs. the Braves, a Freddie Freeman jersey, presented by Bank of America on Sept. 12 vs. the Padres, a Dave Roberts bobblehead, presented by Mastercard on Sept. 13 and a Julio Urías World Baseball Classic Team Mexico bobblehead, presented by Budweiser on Sept. 21 vs. the Giants. 

There are also many theme night celebrations on tap at Dodger Stadium this summer and into September, starting with Luau Night on July 5 vs. Pittsburgh. Following that, the Dodgers will round out July by celebrating Japanese Heritage Night vs. the Angels (July 8) and Los Angeles Kings night vs. Toronto (July 24). On July 30 vs. Cincinnati, it’s the return of Christian Faith and Family Day with live music performances and appearances by current Dodger players and staff. August brings Filipino Heritage Night vs. Oakland (Aug. 2), Mexican Heritage Night, presented by Advance Auto Parts (Aug. 15 vs. Milwaukee), Korean Heritage Night (Aug. 17 vs. Milwaukee), Women's Night (Aug. 18 vs. Miami), Native American Heritage Day, presented by San Manuel Band of Mission Indians (Aug. 20 vs. Miami), Law Enforcement Night (Aug. 28 vs. Arizona), Cal State LA Night (Aug. 29 vs. Arizona), Salvadoran Heritage Night (Aug. 30 vs. Arizona) and Cal State Dominguez Hills Night (Aug. 31 vs. Atlanta). Rounding out the home schedule for theme nights, September will see Los Angeles Lakers Night (Sept. 1 vs. Atlanta), Cal State Northridge Night (Sept. 2 vs. Atlanta), Los Angeles Rams Day (Sept. 3 vs. Atlanta), Firefighter Appreciation Night (Sept. 11 vs. San Diego), Angel City FC Night (Sept. 13 vs. San Diego), Armenian Heritage Night, presented by Yaamava’ (Sept. 18 vs. Detroit), Día De Los Dodgers Night, presented by Hornitos (Sept. 19 vs. Detroit), Guatemalan Heritage Night (Sept. 20 vs. DET), Nurses Appreciation Night (Sept. 22 vs. SF) and Union Night (Sept. 23 vs. SF). Each special themed night includes a special giveaway item to those who purchase a specific ticket pack at dodgers.com/ticketpacks

In addition to the outstanding promotions and one-of-a kind theme nights, the ever-popular Friday Night Fireworks, presented by California Pizza Kitchen, will shift to Tuesday, July 4 for Independence Day and then returns on July 28, Aug. 18 and Sept. 1. The brand new in 2023 Drone shows will be coming back on July 7 vs. the Angels, presented by California Pizza Kitchen, Aug. 11 vs. the Rockies, presented by Yaamava’ and Sept. 22 vs. the Giants, presented by California Pizza Kitchen.
