Dodgers to host Cardinals in Wild Card Game Wednesday

LOS ANGELES– The Los Angeles Dodgers will open Postseason play on Wednesday with a ‘win or go home’ Wild Card game against the St. Louis Cardinals at 5:10 p.m. PT at Dodger Stadium. Wednesday’s Wild Card game will be nationally televised on TBS and broadcast locally on AM 570 LA Sports, KTNQ 1020 AM (Spanish) and KMPC AM 1540 (Korean). Tickets: Tickets remain available for Wednesday at Dodgers.com/Postseason. Fans can also receive priority access to all potential 2021 Postseason games at Dodger Stadium - including the World Series - with the purchase of a 2022 Membership (more information: Dodgers.com/Membership).
Arrive Early!: Parking gates will open at 2:40 p.m. and stadium gates at 3:10 p.m Wednesday. Fans are encouraged to arrive early to enjoy batting practice and entertainment in the Centerfield Plaza.
Public Transportation/Ride Share:
- The Dodger Stadium Express is free for all ticket holders, and connects to public transit centers at Union Station and the South Bay. Buses run approximately every 10 minutes from Union Station starting two hours before game time, and approximately every 15 minutes starting two hours before game time from the Harbor Gateway Transit Center.
- Uber is the preferred ride of the Dodgers and offers fans a safe, affordable ride to and from the stadium at the tap of a button.
Pregame Ceremonies: Wednesday’s pregame ceremonies will include singer/actor Jaime Camil performing the national anthem alongside a joint color guard featuring all six branches of our United States Armed Forces.
Pitching Matchup: The Dodgers will start eight-time All-Star and three-time Cy Young Award winner Max Scherzer (15-4, 2.46 ERA overall, 7-0, 1.98 ERA with Los Angeles), while St. Louis will counter with three-time All-Star Adam Wainwright (17-7, 3.05 ERA).

- In accordance with the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health (LACDPH) order (effective Aug. 19, 2021), all individuals ages two and older, regardless of vaccination status, are required to wear a mask or an appropriate face covering at all times at Dodger Stadium, except when actively eating or drinking in their ticketed seat or when seated at a table. As defined by the LACDPH order, actively eating or drinking is the limited time during which the mask can be removed briefly to eat or drink, after which it must be immediately put back on.
2021 Season: The Dodgers finished the 2021 regular season with the best record ever for a defending World Champion at 106-56 (.654), 1.0 game behind the San Francisco Giants for the top record in the Majors. The 106 wins tied the 2019 club for the most victories in Dodger franchise history. Los Angeles earned its ninth consecutive Postseason berth and will appear as a Wild Card for the first time since 2006.
Postseason: Los Angeles is making its first-ever appearance in the ‘win or go home’ Wild Card game, which began in 2012. The winner of Wednesday’s game advances to the National League Division Series, which starts Friday in San Francisco.
