Dodgers Recall James Outman

LOS ANGELES – The Los Angeles Dodgers recalled outfielder James Outman and optioned left-handed pitcher Justin Wrobleski.

Outman, 27, returns for his fourth stint with the team and has hit .158 with four homers and 11 RBI in 52 games for the Dodgers this season. In three years with the Dodgers, he is batting .231 with 28 homers and 84 RBI in 207 career games. With Triple-A Oklahoma City, he was slashing .279/.390/.543 with 17 homers and 46 RBI in 69 games. He was drafted by the Dodgers in the seventh round of the 2018 First Year Player Draft out of Sacramento State University.

Wrobleski, 24, recorded the save last night, firing four scoreless innings with four strikeouts. He was 1-2 with a 5.70 ERA in eight games (six starts) for the Dodgers with 26 strikeouts and 36.1 innings. With Triple-A Oklahoma City this season, he has posted a 1-2 record with a 5.46 ERA in seven games. The Hoffman Estates, Illinois native was originally drafted in the 11th round of the 2021 First-Year Player Draft by the Dodgers out of Oklahoma State University.
