The Arizona Diamondbacks will host Pride Night on Saturday, June 17, with a Fanny Pack giveaway for the first 10,000 fans in attendance, a special ticket package and recognitions throughout the night.
The D-backs will recognize One Community pregame to commemorate the 10th anniversary of becoming the first Major League Baseball Team to sign the Unity Pledge. Community Engagement Director Janine Skinner and Chief Advocacy Officer Michael Soto, both from One Community, will join D-backs President, CEO & General Partner Derrick Hall to celebrate the more than 3,500 businesses and 20,000 Arizonans who have taken the pledge to support diverse and inclusive workplaces.
A special Pride Night ticket package will include a game ticket, guaranteed D-backs Pride Bag and a rally towel, and participation in the pregame Rainbow Walk around the field. Tickets can be purchased at dbacks.com/pride, by calling 602.462.4600 or at the Chase Field Box Office.
The evening will include a national anthem performance by the Phoenix Gay Men’s Chorus; Raúl Zubiate Jr. of Karambas Night Club will throw out the ceremonial first pitch; Whitney Rose from the Real Housewives of Salt Lake City will serve as the Grand Marshall for a pregame Rainbow Walk Parade; the Progressive Pride Flag will be hung on the Plaza; the D-backs’ rainbow “A” logo will be drawn on the warning track near home plate; and special Pride merchandise will be available in the Team Shop.
