D-backs, Luis Gonzalez and Danzeisen Dairy team up for autism
PHOENIX – As Autism Awareness Month comes to a close, the Arizona Diamondbacks (@Dbacks @LosDbacks @DbacksGiveBack), Luis Gonzalez (@LuisGonzo20) and Danzeisen Dairy are teaming up to raise funds for the Southwest Autism Research and Resource Center (SARRC). For every Danzeisen fresh milkshake or stack shake fans enjoy this season, one dollar will be donated to the Arizona-based non-profit.
“We are very proud to join forces with our partners at Danzeisen Dairy to benefit those with autism in Arizona,” said Gonzalez, who serves as Senior Advisor to D-backs President & CEO Derrick Hall. “The D-backs have a longstanding relationship with SARRC and have always been blown away by the impact they have on our community.”
Established in 1997, SARRC is an internationally recognized nonprofit that conducts innovative research, provides evidence-based practices, disseminates effective training and builds inclusive communities for individuals with autism and their families. SARRC is dedicated to autism research, education, evidence-based treatment, and community outreach. Additionally, SARRC is one of the only autism organizations in the world that provides a lifetime of services for individuals and their families while also conducting cutting edge research.
Danzeisen Dairy is a local, family run dairy with over 60 years of experience in Phoenix. The dairy was the first local dairy to offer glass bottles to grocers within the market – direct and fresh from a local dairy farm only 10 miles from downtown Phoenix.
