The Arizona Diamondbacks made the following roster moves:
Select OF Henry Ramos (No. 14) from Triple-A Reno.
- Will be making his Major League debut.
- Hit .371 (95-for-256)/1.021 OPS with 16 doubles, 1 triple, 12 home runs and 57 RBI in 75 games with Reno this season.
- Was leading all full-season Minor Leaguers in average, ranked third in OPS, fifth in on-base percentage (.439) and ninth in slugging percentage (.582) at the time of his promotion.
- Signed by Arizona as a Minor League free agent on May 19.
- Originally signed with the Boston Red Sox on June 20, 2010, and has played in 916 games (3, 253 at-bats) over 11 Minor League seasons (2010-19, ’21).
Optioned OF Stuart Fairchild to Reno following last night’s game.
The D-backs’ 40-man roster is now at 40.
