D-backs and Corbin Carroll agree to an 8-year contract

The Arizona Diamondbacks agreed with OF Corbin Carroll on an 8-year contract through 2030 (beginning in 2023) with a club option for 2031.

  • Made his Major League debut with the D-backs in 2022…in 32 games, hit .260 (27-for-104)/.830 OPS with 9 doubles, 2 triples, 4 home runs, 14 RBI, 8 walks and 2 stolen bases…appeared in 25 games in left field, 5 in center field, 2 in right field and 2 at DH.
  • Named the D-backs' and USA TODAY's 2022 Minor League Player of the Year after hitting .303 (108-for-356)/1.026 OPS with 22 doubles, 8 triples, 23 home runs, 61 RBI, 65 walks and 31 stolen bases in 91 games between Double-A Amarillo and Triple-A Reno.
  • Over parts of 4 Minor League seasons (2019-22), appeared in 142 games and hit .310 (167-for-539)/1.014 OPS with 32 doubles, 17 triples, 28 home runs, 87 RBI, 102 walks and 52 stolen bases.
