White Sox announce inaugural Chisox Craft Beer Fest
35 Chicagoland Breweries scheduled to participate in September 14 Fest at Guaranteed Rate Field
CHICAGO -- The Chicago White Sox will hold the inaugural “ChiSox Craft Beer Fest” on Saturday, September 14 at Guaranteed Rate Field. This event will be the first-ever craft beer festival held within the ballpark on a non-game day, highlighting more than 35 breweries from around the Chicagoland area.
“The White Sox have always been proud to team up with homegrown, Chicagoland partners to bring our fans unique and new experiences at the ballpark,” said Brooks Boyer, White Sox senior vice president of sales and marketing. “We received an incredible fan response to our evolving beer landscape within the ballpark over the past few seasons. It seemed only natural to bring together craft beer fans and baseball fans on one day at the ChiSox Craft Beer Fest to showcase some of the Midwest’s most exciting craft beer offerings.”
Guests will have the opportunity to stroll the outfield concourse, enjoying tastings from brewers such as Goose Island, Revolution Brewing, 3 Floyds, Marz Brewing and more. A full list of craft breweries scheduled to participate is available at whitesox.com/beerfest. The event also will feature ballpark food, live music and entertainment.
