Bally Sports North, Audacy’s News Talk 830 WCCO and 102.9 The Wolf, and the Treasure Island Baseball Network team up to broadcast 23 Twins Spring Training games in 2023

Bally Sports North to televise 11 games, Audacy to broadcast 13, while Treasure Island Baseball Network & Audacy app to live stream 22 contests

MINNEAPOLIS-ST. PAUL, MN – With pitchers and catchers set to report this week to Fort Myers, Florida, the Minnesota Twins, in conjunction with partners Bally Sports North, Audacy’s News Talk 830 WCCO (WCCO-AM) and 102.9 The Wolf (KMNB-FM), and the Treasure Island Baseball Network (TIBN), today announced the club’s 23-game, 2023 Spring Training broadcast schedule.

Bally Sports North will telecast 11 Twins Grapefruit League games, all of which will also be streamed live on the Bally Sports app. There will be 22 audio broadcasts produced by the Treasure Island Baseball Network; 13 will be carried in the Twin Cities on News Talk 830 WCCO (and simulcast on 102.9 The Wolf), while all 22 will be streamed, live and free of charge, via the Audacy app and website within a geo-fence that expands across the Upper Midwest.

All 23 broadcasts will originate on-site from ballparks in Florida. Every Twins-produced broadcast will feature exclusive live interviews of players, on-field personnel or front office staff as the club prepares for the 2023 season.

Bally Sports North Telecasts

The Bally Sports North (BSN) 11-game broadcast schedule will consist of three contests called by renowned play-by-play voice Dick Bremer, who begins his 40th season in the Twins television booth, alongside Twins Hall of Famer Justin Morneau; seven simulcasts featuring a combination of BSN cameras, graphics and replays, accompanied by analysis and-play-by-play from Treasure Island Baseball Network talent Cory Provus, Kris Atteberry and Twins Hall of Famer Dan Gladden; and one simulcast of the opponents’ broadcast feed (Thursday, March 2 at Tampa Bay).

Bally Sports North begins its 2023 Spring Training slate with a 12:00 p.m. CT simulcast on Wednesday, March 1 as the Twins host the reigning National League Champion Philadelphia Phillies. Bremer and Morneau make their 2023 debut on Thursday, March 23 when Minnesota welcomes the Toronto Blue Jays; the pair will also call the Saturday, March 25 game vs. the Atlanta Braves and the spring’s final Hammond Stadium home contest on Monday, March 27 vs. the Pittsburgh Pirates.

Treasure Island Baseball Network Audio Broadcasts

The Treasure Island Baseball Network’s 22 games will feature a combination of Provus, the three-time Minnesota Sportscaster of the Year; Atteberry; Gladden, who enters his 25th year in the Twins radio booth after helping Minnesota to the 1987 and 1991 World Series titles; and Morneau, who will handle analyst duties on March 21 (vs. Tampa Bay), March 22 (at Boston) and March 26 (at the Red Sox).

Audacy’s News Talk 830 WCCO and 102.9 The Wolf will begin its 13-game broadcast schedule at 12:00 p.m. CT on Saturday, February 25 for the Twins’ Grapefruit League home opener vs. the Tampa Bay Rays.
