City Connect Uniforms

  • The Rangers will wear their Nike City Connect uniforms on Friday night.
  • The uniforms pay homage to Arlington, Dallas, and Fort Worth and will be worn by the Rangers every Friday and Saturday at Globe Life Field.

Pre-game Happy Hour, presented by Anheuser-Busch

  • Fans can purchase $4 draft beer in the Karbach Brewing Sky Porch from 5 – 7 p.m.
  • Anheuser-Busch’s pre-game happy hour will take place every Friday and Saturday through September 2.

Texas A&M University Night

  • The Texas Rangers are hosting Texas A&M Night on Friday. Fans who purchased special tickets will receive a co-branded Texas Rangers-Texas A&M cap. Texas A&M Night tickets are sold out.

First Pitch

  • Jim Schlossnagle, Texas A&M Head Baseball Coach and former TCU Head Baseball Coach.
  • United States Air Force Major General Jeffrey Pennington.

Pre-Game Recognition

  • On Friday morning, 100 youth baseball and softball athletes participated in this year’s PLAY campaign at Globe Life Field, where they were educated on the importance of living a healthy and active lifestyle, and decision-making regarding performance-enhancing drugs.
  • PLAY, which stands for Promoting a Lifetime of Activity for Youth, is a national public awareness campaign of the Professional Baseball Athletic Trainers Society (PBATS), in conjunction with the Taylor Hooton Foundation, the Henry Schein Cares Foundation, and MLB Charities
  • Participating in the event are Texas Rangers pitcher Jon Gray, Head Athletic Trainer Matt Lucero, Athletic Trainers Jacob Newburn and Sean Fields, Strength and Conditioning Coaches Jose Vazquez and Albert Sandoval, performance dietician Katie McInnis, President of the Taylor Hooten Foundation Donald Hooten Jr.

National Anthem

  • The National Anthem will be performed by Grand Prairie ISD.

Alumni Alley Autograph Session

  • 5:15 – 6:15 p.m.
  • Texas Rangers alumni will sign free autographs in the New Era Alumni Alley on the main concourse near section 103 at every Friday and Saturday home game.

  • Ella B’s Restaurant
  • The Arlington Eats concession stand, located near section 101, features pop-up outposts of local restaurants during Friday, Saturday, and Sunday games, select premium mid-week series, and select events.
  • Participants for the 2023 season include Ella B’s Restaurant, Prince Lebanese Grill, Sugar Bee Sweets Bakery, The Tin Cup, Cartel Taco Bar, and Shrimp Doc.

Texas Rangers Summer Reading Club

  • Kids who completed the Rangers Summer Reading Club program at participating DFW libraries will be seated in the upper reserve sections at Saturday’s game. The Summer Reading Club offer is sold out.

Pre-Game Recognition

  • Richard Greene Scholars
  • The Texas Rangers Baseball Foundation will recognize the 2023-24 Richard Greene Scholars before Saturday’s game.
  • Kyree Burley – Bowie High School, Tivana Campbell – Seguin High School, Gianna Dangelmaier – Arlington High School, Christopher Montano – Sam Houston High School, Isabella Reneau – Lamar High School, and Daniel Tepedino – Martin High School.
  • The Richard Greene Scholars Program, named for former Arlington Mayor Richard Greene, was established in 1997 as a collaborative effort with the City of Arlington and Arlington Independent School District to pay tribute to the mayor that led the campaign to keep the Rangers in Arlington.
  • The six Arlington Independent School District students selected for the program will be awarded $10,000 college scholarships and a spot in an immersive internship and leadership training program.

  • Texas Rangers partner Budweiser is continuing its support of those in the military by granting scholarships to the families of fallen or disabled service members supported by Folds of Honor.

  • Texas Rangers pitcher Jon Gray and his wife Jacklyn will host members of Vance Air Force Base located in Enid, Okla., as part of their #MissionGrayWolf22 initiative.

  • The Texas Rangers Baseball Foundation will recognize the 2023 Mark Holtz Scholarship winners before Sunday’s game.
  • Lys Marquez - Texas Christian University, Micah Pearce - Texas Christian University, Ana Casablanca Chavez - University of Texas at Arlington, and Jesus Trevizo Quezada - University of Texas at Arlington.
  • Named in honor of late Rangers’ broadcaster Mark Holtz, two journalism majors are selected each year from Texas Christian University and the University of Texas at Arlington to receive $1,000 scholarships per semester.
  • Johnny Oates Scholarship Winners
  • The Texas Rangers Baseball Foundation will recognize the 2023 Johnny Oates Scholarship Recipients before Sunday’s game.
