Angels-Reds game on August 21, 2023, postponed
Game will be made up Wednesday night at 6:38 p.m. as part of doubleheader
ANAHEIM – Monday’s Angels game against the Cincinnati Reds has been postponed due to the effects from yesterday’s storm. The contest has been rescheduled for Wednesday (Aug. 23) at 6:38 p.m. as part of a split doubleheader, following the originally scheduled game at 1:07 p.m. Both games of the doubleheader will air on Bally Sports West and AM830.
Today’s home rainout is the 19th in Angels history (14th at Angel Stadium) and is the second this season (yesterday’s originally scheduled game was rescheduled and played as part of a doubleheader on Saturday afternoon). This is the first time the Angels have had multiple home games rescheduled due to weather in one season since 1983, when three April games were rained out.
