Angels host Seattle and Los Angeles (NL) in five-game homestand

The Angels host their 11th homestand of the year from August 30 – September 4. The homestand will open with a three-game series against the Mariners, and conclude with a two-game set against the Dodgers. Below is a look at the notable events and ceremonies taking place at Angel Stadium over the next six days.
CHILDHOOD CANCER AWARENESS MONTH
- MLB and its Clubs will raise awareness for childhood cancer for a special league-wide day in home ballparks during all games on Sunday, September 1. Players will wear gold ribbons and wristbands during the games, and bases will be adorned with special base jewels to raise awareness for pediatric cancer.
- The Angels will welcome MemorialCare Miller Children’s & Women’s Hospital Long Beach on Tuesday, September 3. Patients from the hospital will participate in pregame festivities including the honorary bat kid and ceremonial first pitch. Additionally, the Angels will be presenting a $20,000 check to the Jonathan Jaques Children’s Cancer Institute to support cancer research and treatment.
AM830 NIGHT
- Friday, August 30 is AM830 Night at Angel Stadium. Festivities will include a game ball delivery by AM830 broadcaster and host Trent Rush, a first pitch thrown out by AM830 radio host Roger Lodge, and in-game recognition for fans who won tickets to the game by listening to the Angels flagship radio station.
FIREWORKS
- Fans in attendance of the Saturday night game on August 31 will be treated to a postgame fireworks show driven by your Helpful SoCal Honda Dealers.
GIVEAWAYS
- Upon entrance to the game on Friday, August 30, the first 25,000 fans in attendance will receive a Short Sleeve Hooded Shirt presented by Foundation Building Materials.
