ANAHEIM – General Manager Billy Eppler today announced the Club’s 2020 Opening Day roster.

To set the roster at 30 active players, the Angels selected RHP Jacob Barnes and LHP Hoby Milner to the Major League roster and recalled LHP Ryan Buchter, OF Michael Hermosillo and INF Jared Walsh from the Alternate Training Site. Additionally, RHP Justin Anderson (right elbow UCL injury) has been placed on the 45-day injured list.

The maximum roster size will be reduced from 30 to 28 players on the 15th day of the 2020 regular season. The maximum roster size will be reduced from 28 to 26 players on the 29th day of the regular season and will remain at 26 for the remainder of the season. There will not be expanded rosters in September.

The Angels begin the 2020 regular season tomorrow night against the Oakland Athletics at 7:10 p.m. (PDT) at the Oakland Coliseum. The Home Opener will take place on Tuesday, July 28 against the Seattle Mariners (6:40 pm).
