Major League Baseball (MLB) and American Dairy Queen Corporation (ADQ), a leader in iconic treats and food, today announced a renewed partnership for the 2025 season, marking the fourth consecutive year with DQ as the Official Treat of MLB. The partnership expansion coincides with DQ brand's 85th birthday celebration and introduces exciting new promotions that feature MLB All-Stars Francisco Lindor and Dansby Swanson.
Lindor and Swanson will be featured in the Summer Blizzard Treat Menu campaign, appearing in national TV commercials and sharing their favorite Blizzard Treat creations across social media platforms. ADQ is planning to air these spots and more as national advertising during MLB game broadcasts across cable and streaming networks.
As a way to celebrate 85 years of treating fans across America, and to celebrate Opening Day, participating DQ locations are offering $.85 Blizzard Treats through the DQ mobile app from March 24 - April 6*. Additionally, select MLB clubs will also join in the celebration, promoting DQ limited-time offers with special player-driven content and "B-Day Blast" posts. The "B-Day Blast" content series will highlight each time a player hits a home run on their birthday.
The DQ brand is also continuing its partnership with Little League® Baseball and Softball, making DQ the Official Post Game Destination of Little League for the third year in a row. ADQ will feature Little Leaguers® in their May Summer Blizzard Treat Menu creative spots and cross-promote this partnership across digital media channels. Baseball-themed DQ spots are also scheduled to run throughout the Little League Baseball® World Series, presented by T-Mobile, in August on ESPN.
“For generations, DQ has been the go-to post-game celebration spot for families and teams, offering delicious food and treats like our Summer Blizzard Treat Menu. As we mark our 85th birthday, we’re thrilled to continue our partnership with MLB and Little League, bringing fans even more ways to celebrate the sweetest moments of the season,” said Becky Felling, Vice President of Marketing Communications at ADQ. “From exclusive promotions to exciting new campaigns featuring MLB players we’re making sure fans can treat themselves like champions all summer long.”
The excitement extends beyond the ballpark on July 31 when DQ hosts its annual Miracle Treat Day. For every Blizzard Treat sold on Miracle Treat Day at participating U.S. locations, $1 or more will be donated to local children’s hospitals through Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals. These donations provide critical funding for life-saving treatments and essential services for kids in need. Building on its long-time support of Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals and the annual Miracle Treat Day, ADQ is also sponsoring a Miracle Child and their family from the Children’s Miracle Hospital Network to attend the 2025 MLB All-Star Game presented by Mastercard in Atlanta, with a VIP experience.
MLB will also host a series of DQ-branded sweepstakes this season. The first sweepstakes will award two lucky fans and their guests a chance to win a trip to the Midsummer Classic.
Additionally, ADQ collaboration with baseball continues to celebrate the sport's most thrilling moments through its marketing around of the "happiest play in baseball" – the grand slam. Fans can join DQ Rewards, order at least $1 and celebrate a grand slam with a free small shake. Fans can also participate in the celebration by downloading the DQ App for a chance to win exclusive All-Star Game experiences in Atlanta.
