A's to broadcast all 162 regular-season games
NBC Sports California to present live coverage of 159 regular season A's games, including Opening Day on April 1
OAKLAND, Calif. — All 162 Oakland A’s regular season games will be televised during the 2021 season, including 159 games on NBC Sports California, beginning with the A’s Opening Day game on April 1 at 7:07 p.m. PT against the Houston Astros. The remaining games will be televised on FS1 (April 10, May 15) and FOX (July 3).
NBC Sports California’s live-game coverage of the A’s will feature the Emmy Award-winning announcing team of Glen Kuiper (play-by-play) and Ray Fosse (analyst). Former A’s pitcher Dallas Braden will return to join home telecasts and select road games.
Prior to the start of the game, fans can catch the latest team developments, interviews, and an in-depth game preview on A’s Pregame Live. Immediately following the game, A’s Postgame Live will give viewers a complete game breakdown with stats and highlights, interviews, and a preview of the next game. The gameday shows will be led by Brodie Brazil and feature A’s alumni, Dave Stewart, Bip Roberts, and Shooty Babitt, and Bay Area native and former MLB pitcher Dontrelle Willis as analysts.
NBC Sport California’s live A’s coverage, including pregame and postgame shows, will continue to be available to stream live on the MyTeams app and NBCSportsBayArea.com.
Every regular season game will also be broadcast on Bloomberg 960 AM and KOSF-HD2 FM 103.7. A’s fans outside the Bay Area can continue to catch games on the A’s Radio Network, which includes KHTK-AM 1140 in Sacramento and 12 additional radio affiliates throughout Northern California. All A’s games can also be heard on A’s Cast on iHeartRadio, the Club’s 24/7 audio streaming station and official home of A’s audio content. The A’s Cast station is free for fans in the Bay Area and can be accessed in one click at athletics.com/AsCast. Fans outside of the Bay Area can access on-demand content, including pre and postgame shows, for free at athletics.com/AsCast.
Spanish-language radio broadcasts will be available for 60 of the A’s home games this season on KIQI (1010 AM, San Francisco) and KATD (990 AM, Pittsburg). Amaury Pi-González returns for his 28th season with the A’s and 44th season overall in MLB; he will be joined by Manolo Hernández-Douen, who will begin his 13th season as an A’s analyst and play-by-play broadcaster.
