The Pittsburgh Pirates today announced they have selected right-handed pitcher Travis MacGregor with the 68th overall selection in the second round of the 2016 First-Year Player Draft. The announcement was made by Pirates Director of Scouting Joe DelliCarri.
MacGregor attended East Lake High School in Tarpon Springs, Florida. He was a 2016 Rawlings-Perfect Game honorable mention All-American selection.
