Celebrate America's birthday by enjoying the national pastime at Citizens Bank Park from July 3-9. The Phillies start a fun-filled homestand with a four-game series versus the Pittsburgh Pirates (July 3-6) followed by a three-game series against the San Diego Padres (July 7-9). On Tuesday, July 4, to celebrate Independence Day, the Phillies will host a Salute to Veterans Celebration presented by Toyota. Fans are invited to be in their seats by 3:30 p.m. for a very special Phillies salute to the nation's military, which includes:
Following the games on Thursday, July 6, and Friday, July 7, fans will be able to enjoy a world-class fireworks show choreographed to music, compliments of XFINITY.
Fans are invited to dress in their 80s best and join the Phillies for a fun-filled retro weekend!
On Friday, July 7, the Phillies will kick off the weekend with 1980s Retro Night.
On Saturday, July 8, all fans will receive a Toyota Mike Schmidt bobble figurine in recognition of the 30^th anniversary of his 500^th home run.
On Sunday, July 9, the Phillies wrap up retro weekend with a Herr's Kids Retro Pullover Jacket for all kids 14 and under. Plus, Gary "The Sarge" Matthews will throw out a ceremonial first pitch and the Phillies and Padres will once again wear the 1983 retro uniforms on-field.
The Phillies will also host a variety of theme nights throughout the week, exclusively available to fans that purchase a Theme Night Ticket through phillies.com/themenights.
On Saturday, July 8, beginning at 2:05 pm and continuing through the 6th inning of the 4:05 p.m. Phillies game versus the Padres, fans 21 and over are invited to stop by the Budweiser Rooftop at Citizens Bank Park for Bud & Burger Night featuring Budweiser giveaways, entertainment and specials on Budweiser aluminum bottles and draughts. Marc Farzetta from SportsRadio 94WIP will be doing a meet and greet with fans on the Budweiser Rooftop from 3:00 - 5:00 p.m.
Also, fans can head across the street to XFINITY Live! before and after Saturday's game for the Official Phillies Gameday Party. Phillies fun includes guest appearances by Phillies Alumni Tommy Greene, 3:00 - 4:00 p.m., and Greg Luzinski, for one hour immediately following the game.
