The Orioles today announced several new food offerings and enhanced concessions experiences at Oriole Park for the 2019 season, beginning at Thursday’s home opener at 3:05 p.m. ET against the New York Yankees.

REIMAGINED EUTAW STREET EXPERIENCE & EXPANDED BOOG’S BBQ

When gates open on Thursday for Opening Day, fans will enjoy a significantly-enhanced Eutaw Street experience with festoon lighting and expanded concessions and retail offerings with a lively, street festival atmosphere. At the heart of Eutaw Street, the iconic Boog’s BBQ will expand its footprint and will feature new décor and signage, a branded 1950 Chevy truck, a lighted 30-foot sign, and an outdoor smoker. The Boog’s neighborhood will also include Boog’s General Store in the Warehouse, where Boog’s-branded, lifestyle merchandise including t-shirts and caps will be available for purchase, along with general concessions items.

Just north of Boog’s on Eutaw Street, a vintage airstream mobile bar parked 478 feet from home plate, the new Bar 478, will serve a selection of beer, wine, mixed drinks, and non-alcoholic beverages.

On the North end of Eutaw Street, locally-owned Harris Creek Oyster & Seafood will join with Lobster Hut to create the premiere destination spot for seafood lovers. Harris Creek, the family-owned and operated oyster farm from near St. Michael’s, Md., will offer fresh, local, and ice-cold oysters shucked on the half shell, a fried catfish sandwich, and oyster po’ boys.

CAMDEN FRANKS FROM HOFFMAN’S IN HAGERSTOWN COMING SOON

This season, the Orioles will introduce a new ballpark hot dog, as the specially-produced Camden Frank by Hoffman’s Meats in Hagerstown, Md. debuts during the second homestand of the season. The Camden Classic Frank and Camden Jumbo Frank will be available at concessions stands throughout the ballpark beginning on April 19. Hoffman’s replaces ESSKAY as the official hot dog of Oriole Park following ESSKAY’s decision to cease production of all hot dogs late last year.

LOCAL BEEF BURGERS NOW AVAILABLE IN MORE LOCATIONS

Monkton-based Roseda Black Angus Farms gourmet burgers will be available at more locations throughout the ballpark this season, including two Roseda Farms stands and two Club Grille locations. Roseda beef is a premium, award-winning product produced from local, all-natural, dry-aged Black Angus beef. All Roseda cattle are pasture-raised, grain-finished, and the meat contains no routine antibiotics or growth hormones, artificial color or flavoring, chemical preservatives, or other synthetic ingredients. The Roseda Black Angus Farm is located in Monkton, Md., primarily serving the Mid-Atlantic region.

At Baseline Burger stands throughout the ballpark, Old Line Custom Meats will utilize fresh (not frozen), high-quality MVP (Maryland, Virginia, Pennsylvania) beef. Locally-based in Baltimore, Old Line Custom Meats provides fresh ground beef sourced from local farms in the Maryland, Virginia, and Pennsylvania areas.

LOCAL FAVORITES RETURN

Several local and regional favorites will return this season to locations throughout the ballpark. In addition to Harris Creek Oyster Co. and Roseda Farms, Oriole Park will welcome back Attman’s Deli, Boardwalk Fries, Pizza John’s (now celebrating its 50th anniversary), Pinch Dumplings, Roma Sausage, 7th Inning Sorbet, and Stuggy’s.

VALUE FOR THE WHOLE FAMILY

 The Orioles continue to be one of the region’s most family-friendly entertainment experiences as the fifth most affordable ballpark experience in Major League Baseball. With a wide variety of sizing and pricing options available throughout the ballpark, fans and families from all walks of life can enjoy affordable ballpark fare in a selection of perfect portions for everyone.

In addition to family-friendly concessions and pricing, the Orioles continue to offer one of the most flexible food and beverage policies in the industry. Fans are once again permitted to bring outside food and drinks into the game, subject to a few basic guidelines.

The Kids’ Corner near Gate C will continue to serve a variety of specially-sized and priced concessions items especially for children, including exclusives such as snowballs, corn dogs, and chicken nuggets, as well as ballpark favorites like fresh-popped popcorn, hot dogs, French fries, ice cream, and cotton candy. Kids-sized hot dogs and sodas are also available at select locations throughout the ballpark.

YOUTH EMPOWERMENT

This season, the Orioles will continue to partner with organizations that help drive youth empowerment through employment opportunities at the ballpark. 7th Inning Sorbet, a product of Baltimore’s own Frozen Desert Sorbet, will be available at multiple locations around the ballpark, with 50 percent of each sale benefiting CityWide Youth Development. Approximately 15 youth from the organization’s job training program will operate the 7th Inning Sorbet concession stands. CityWide Youth Development is a nonprofit organization that uplifts underserved communities in the Baltimore region through manufacturing and entrepreneurship. The organization provides job training and employment opportunities for inner city youth, while creating an economic development system geared toward low-income areas around Baltimore.

Flying Fruit Fantasy at Oriole Park, a smoothie stand operated by The Choice Jobs Program at UMBC, also offers job training and skills development for Baltimore-area youth. The program provides a unique pathway to employment success in a supportive environment, with access to resources and opportunities for underprivileged youth.
