MLB Network to feature exclusive awards programming for 12 consecutive weekdays from Nov. 8-23

Hank Aaron Award to be revealed Tuesday, Nov. 9 at 6 p.m. ET; BBWAA Awards week is Nov. 15-18

Following the Atlanta Braves’ first World Series championship since 1995, MLB Network’s offseason programming will feature the return of its weekday morning show Hot Stove and a lineup of exclusive awards programming for 12 consecutive weekdays from November 8-23. The first award announcement will be the 2021 Hank Aaron Award on Tuesday, Nov. 9 at 6 p.m. ET, which will recognize the most outstanding regular season offensive performer in each league. As this will mark first time the award will be presented since Aaron’s passing on Jan. 22, Billye Aaron – Aaron’s wife of 48 years – is scheduled to join the program in-studio. The finalists for the Hank Aaron Award were announced on Oct. 8.

The finalists for the 2021 BBWAA Awards will be revealed on Monday, Nov. 8 at 6 p.m. ET, followed by the exclusive live announcements of the winners of the American League and National League Jackie Robinson Rookie of the Year, Manager of the Year, Cy Young and Most Valuable Player Awards during BBWAA Awards Week from Nov. 15-18 at 6 p.m. ET each night. MLB Network has been the exclusive home of the BBWAA Awards since 2012.

In addition to the Hank Aaron Award next week, MLB Network will exclusively reveal the Relievers of the Year on Wednesday, Nov. 10 at 7 p.m. ET, followed by the Silver Slugger Awards presented by Louisville Slugger on Thursday, Nov. 11 at 6 p.m. ET and the Rawlings Platinum Glove Award, Team Defensive Award and Minor League Gold Glove Awards on Friday, Nov. 12 at 6 p.m. ET.

MLB Network will also exclusively announce the official All-MLB Team presented by Cue Health nominees on Wednesday, Nov. 10 at 6 p.m. ET, followed by the winners Tuesday, Nov. 23 at 6 p.m. ET. The All-MLB Team presented by Cue Health recognizes and commemorates the top performances by players in the 2021 regular season.
