July 10, 2018 - With the rosters announced for the 2018 MLB All-Star Game presented by Mastercard, MLB Network is set to deliver its most extensive coverage of the Midsummer Classic across its linear TV and social media platforms. With fans voting to select the final player for each League's 32-man roster, MLB Network will exclusively announce the winners of the 2018 Camping World All-Star Final Vote live on MLB Tonight on Wednesday, July 11 at 8:00 p.m. ET.
As one of its largest remote productions each year with more than 14 hours of on-site programming, MLB Network's live coverage of All-Star Week starts with the exclusive telecast of the SiriusXM All-Star Futures Game on Sunday, July 15 at 4:00 p.m. ET. The annual showcase of the top Minor League prospects will be called by MLB Network's Greg Amsinger, Harold Reynolds, Lauren Shehadi and MLBPipeline.com prospect expert Jim Callis. The game telecast will be followed by the premiere of the documentary MLB Network Presents: Only in Hollywood at 8:00 p.m. ET/5:00 p.m. PT, celebrating the 30th anniversary of the 1988 World Series champion Los Angeles Dodgers.
Leading up to the T-Mobile Home Run Derby and the MLB All-Star Game presented by Mastercard, MLB Network will produce unparalleled coverage in and around Nationals Park, featuring its signature on-field interviews and demos with All-Star players and managers live during batting practice. MLB Network's lineup of personalities on-site will include Hall of Famer and eight-time All-Star Pedro Martinez, three-time All-Star Sean Casey, former NL All-Star Cliff Floyd, two-time All-Star Al Leiter, Kevin Millar, former AL All-Star Carlos Peña, two-time All-Star Harold Reynolds, Hall of Fame award-winning writer Peter Gammons, and hosts Greg Amsinger, Scott Braun, Robert Flores, Brian Kenny, Chris Rose, Christopher Russo and Lauren Shehadi.
Across its Twitter, Instagram, Facebook and Snapchat platforms and integrated in its on-air programming, MLB Network will give fans a behind-the-scenes look at what it's like to be at the All-Star Game, from Cliff Floyd serving as a fashion reporter at the All-Star Red Carpet Show presented by Chevrolet, to sitting in the dugouts during the SiriusXM All-Star Futures Game. MLB Network's social-first content will also bring fans on the field during All-Star Batting Practice on Monday and Tuesday, where analysts will wear Snapchat Spectacles to give fans a first-person look at this year's All-Stars. Throughout All-Star Week, fans will also be able to submit questions to this year's All-Stars by posting videos to social media using #ASG and tagging @MLBNetwork. The questions will be posed to All-Stars and answered across MLB Network's All-Star programming.
