Miami is returning all affiliate managers from 2017, led by Arnie Beyeler, who will helm the Triple-A New Orleans Baby Cakes for the third straight season (124-153). Randy Ready led Double-A Jacksonville to a 69-71 record and second-half title, propelling the Jumbo Shrimp to their first playoff appearance since winning the Southern League Championship in 2014. Single-A Jupiter will see the return of Kevin Randel, who in his first season with the Hammerheads went 67-68. In his first season at Single-A Greensboro, Todd Pratt led the Grasshoppers to a first place finish and playoff appearance in the South Atlantic League North with a 75-61 record. Former Marlins' first-baseman Mike Jacobs returns for his second season at Short-Season Batavia. John Pachot, who guided the Gulf Coast Marlins to a second-place finish (32-23) in the East division, returns for his second season, while Ray Nuñez returns for his 12th season leading the Dominican Summer League Marlins following a 40-29 mark in '17.
