Major League Baseball today announced its preliminary schedule for the 2025 season, with the Dodgers opening the campaign in Asia for the second straight year, this time in Tokyo, Japan on March 18 and March 19 vs. the Chicago Cubs in the Tokyo Series, presented by Guggenheim.

The club will then begin its domestic slate with their home opener on March 27 as part of a three-game series vs. the Detroit Tigers. Los Angeles then starts April with three games vs. the Atlanta Braves (March 31-April 2) to close out the first homestand.

The Dodgers will be back home for their second homestand on April 11 vs. the Cubs and, as is tradition, Dodger Stadium will host Jackie Robinson night, Tuesday, April 15 vs. the Colorado Rockies. Another highlight is when the Yankees and Mets come to town for an all-New York City homestand from May 30-June 5. L.A. will renew its rivalry with the Yankees from May 30-June 1, just prior to the New York Mets visiting for a four-game series, June 2-5.

MLB's balanced schedule returns for the third consecutive season, meaning the Dodgers will play at least one series with every single Major League team either at home or on the road. Next year, in addition to the Tigers, the Dodgers will host the Athletics (May 12-14), Los Angeles Angels (May 16-18), Yankees (May 30-June 1), Chicago White Sox (July 1-3), Houston Astros (July 4-6), Minnesota Twins (July 21-23) and Toronto Blue Jays (Aug. 8-10) in Interleague play. The regular season ends on Sunday, Sept. 28 at T-Mobile Park in Seattle. The final home games of the season will be Sept. 18-21 vs. the San Franciso Giants.

The Dodgers will also be home vs. the Giants on Father's Day (June 15) and the Astros on Independence Day (July 4).
