The St. Louis Cardinals announced several promotions today within the team's Baseball Operations staff, promoting Randy Flores to Assistant General Manager/Director of Scouting, Ernie Moore to Director of Team Travel and Mark Walsh to Head Clubhouse Manager.
"I'm pleased to announce today's promotions," stated Cardinals President of Baseball Operations John Mozeliak. "These three individuals will be oversighting important areas within our baseball operations, and I know that they are ready to begin taking on their new responsibilities."
Flores joined the Cardinals as Director of Scouting in August of 2015 and has overseen the club's amateur draft each of the past three seasons.
Moore, who has served as equipment manager the past three seasons, will now direct the team's travel, taking over the duties of long-time team traveling secretary C.J. Cherre who is retiring at year's end.
Walsh will now oversee all home clubhouse and equipment operations after sharing in those duties with Moore for the past three seasons.
