LOUIS, Mo., August 15, 2024 – The St. Louis Cardinals, in conjunction with Major League Baseball’s league-wide release, today announced their 2025 Spring Training schedule. The team’s 30-game spring training slate is set to begin on Saturday, February 22 when the Cardinals play their stadium co-tenants the Miami Marlins at Roger Dean Chevrolet Stadium.

The Cardinals 2025 Spring schedule features 15 home games and 15 road games, including four games as the visiting team against Miami (Feb. 22, March 2, 16 & 22), giving them 19 total games at Roger Dean Chevrolet Stadium.

The Cardinals will host six different Grapefruit League opponents in 2025, including home games against the New York Yankees (March 9) and Toronto Blue Jays (March 15). The club will also host four games with the Washington Nationals, and three each with the New York Mets, Houston Astros, and Marlins.

The Redbirds will travel to the Tampa Bay area to play the Yankees in Tampa and Blue Jays in Dunedin on back-to-back days February 25 & 26.

The Cardinals will play at Roger Dean Chevrolet Stadium on nine of 10 weekend dates (Feb. 22 & 23, March 1, 2, 9, 15, 16, 22 & 23). Additionally, the team’s spring schedule includes a pair of split-squad dates featuring home and away games on both Tuesday, March 4 and Friday, March 21. The club has scheduled off-days on Monday, March 3 and Thursday, March 20.

The Cardinals will break camp on Sunday, March 23, following their game against Washington, four days before opening the 2025 regular season at Busch Stadium on Thursday, March 27 versus the Minnesota Twins.

MLB also announced the return of the Spring Breakout showcase for 2025. The four-day event will see all 30 clubs field a team of top prospects to play a seven-inning exhibition game against another club’s top prospects. The Cardinals prospects are scheduled to play the Marlins prospects on Friday, March 14, at Roger Dean Chevrolet Stadium.

The spring slate will mark the 28th year that the Cardinals will train at Roger Dean Chevrolet Stadium in Jupiter, Florida. The Cardinals will make future announcements regarding 2025 Spring Training game times, ticket availability, broadcast schedule and player report dates at a later time.
