Blue Jays Announce 2025 Regular Season Schedule

Toronto opens the season at Rogers Centre on MLB Opening Day (March 27) for the first time since 2019, and closes the season at home (September 28) for the third straight year

The Toronto Blue Jays today release its 2025 regular season schedule. The first pitch of the club’s 49th season will be thrown at home on Thursday, March 27 – Blue Jays Opening Day presented by TD – against the American League East rival Baltimore Orioles. It is the first time since 2019 that the Blue Jays have both opened and closed the regular season at Rogers Centre on MLB Opening Day and the league-wide final day of the regular season.

Below are additional highlights of the 2025 Blue Jays regular season schedule:

  • 48 interleague matchups, with home series against the Washington Nationals (March 31 to April 2), Atlanta Braves (April 14 to 16), San Diego Padres (May 20 to 22), Philadelphia Phillies (June 3 to 5), Arizona Diamondbacks (June 17 to 19), San Francisco Giants (July 18 to 20), Chicago Cubs (August 12 to 14), and Milwaukee Brewers (August 29 to 31).
  • 52 games vs. AL East opponents and 31 games each against AL Central and West teams, split evenly between home and away.
  • Fans can look forward to 12 Tuesday Loonie Dogs Nights and 12 Jr. Jays Sundays during the 2025 home season, with the full Promotions and Events Schedule to be announced this offseason.
  • Blue Jays Opening Weekend at Rogers Centre runs from March 27 to 30 with four games versus the Baltimore Orioles, followed by a three-game visit from the Washington Nationals (March 31 to April 2).
  • West Coast fans – circle Mother’s Day on your calendar to celebrate Mom during the annual Blue Jays takeover in Seattle from Friday, May 9 to Sunday, May 11. The Blue Jays favourite Canadian border-city clashes continue in Minnesota (June 6 to 8) and Detroit (July 24 to 27).
  • Rogers Centre turns red for the annual Canada Day celebration on July 1, as the New York Yankees make their first Toronto visit of 2025.
  • Coming out of the All-Star Break, the Blue Jays welcome the dog days of summer with a weekend series at home against the San Francisco Giants (July 18 to 20), followed by the second and final home series versus the New York Yankees (July 21 to 23).
  • September brings a steady stream of familiar opponents, with five matchups against fellow AL East teams taking place in the last month of the season:

    ⚬ September 12 to 14 vs. Baltimore Orioles
    ⚬ September 15 to 18 at Tampa Bay Rays
    ⚬ September 23 to 25 vs. Boston Red Sox

  • The Blue Jays close out the 2025 season on Sunday, Sept. 28, ending at home for the third season in a row.
