Blue Jays Announce 2024 Regular Season Schedule

Toronto visits Tampa on March 28 for MLB Opening Day; Blue Jays Home Opener set for April 8 vs. the Seattle Mariners

The Toronto Blue Jays today release its 2024 regular season schedule, which begins on Thursday, March 28 against the Tampa Bay Rays, a short drive from their Spring Training home. The Blue Jays Home Opener presented by TD takes place on Monday, April 8 against the Seattle Mariners, beginning a nine-game homestand during which the second phase of Rogers Centre renovations will be unveiled to fans for the first time.

Below are additional highlights of the club’s 48th regular season schedule:

  • 46 interleague games, highlighted by NL West home series against the Colorado Rockies (April 12 to 14) and Los Angeles Dodgers (April 26 to 28). The two teams have not played at Rogers Centre since 2013 and 2016 respectively, marking Toronto’s two longest active spans without a home game against an opponent. 
  • 52 games vs. AL East opponents, split evenly between home and away.
  • Two 10-day, nine-game homestands mark the longest of the season; the opening homestand from April 8 to 17 against the Mariners, Rockies, and Yankees, and coming out of the All-Star Break from July 19 to 28 vs. the Tigers, Rays, and Rangers.
  • The Blue Jays have your Mother’s AND Father’s Day plans covered for 2024! Celebrate at the ballpark on Sunday, May 12 the Minnesota Twins and Sunday, June 16 vs. the Cleveland Guardians.
