Aurora Health Care and the Milwaukee Brewers will team up on a new corporate partnership where Aurora will be the official health care partner of the Brewers, and together, the two organizations will look to create a healthier, more accessible experience to fans at Miller Park throughout the year.
The two organizations will work on a variety of initiatives throughout the year to promote health and wellness as well as diversity and inclusion at Miller Park and throughout the state.
The multi-year sponsorship includes both in-season and out-of-season elements, as well as the sponsorship of key signature games throughout the year.
"At Aurora Health Care, we're committed to making our communities stronger," said Michael Brophy, chief communications officer with Aurora Health Care. "We're thrilled to be able to team with the Milwaukee Brewers - an organization that shares our commitment to the communities we serve - and help enhance the fan experience throughout the year."
Aurora clinical experts will provide staffing at the First Aid Room for all Brewers home games and non-game day events. Aurora and the Brewers will also enhance parking lot shuttle and wheelchair services at games, creating a better experience for fans as they arrive and leave the stadium.
With a continued focus on health and wellness, the Aurora-sponsored nursing room for mothers will be complete prior to Opening Day, 2018, where moms with young children can experience a private location to nurse young children.
Aurora will play a role in the renovation of kids play areas on the Terrace Level and outside the ballpark (located near the Miller Park Plaza opposite the Clock Tower entrance), working with team officials to create the best experience for children. Aurora will also team with the Brewers to help in the development of a new healthy food menu option at Miller Park, which will be available at select concession areas during game days.
With a strong focus on diversity and inclusion, Aurora Health Care will become the title sponsor of Hispanic Heritage Day (formerly known as Cerveceros Day), African-American Heritage Day (formerly known as the Negro Leagues Tribute Game) and a first ever Pride Night at Miller Park during the 2018 season.
"Aurora Health Care and the Milwaukee Brewers share much in common, as both are Milwaukee-based, heritage organizations with a customer-first focus," said Brewers Chief Operating Officer Rick Schlesinger. "We appreciate Aurora's commitment to building a true partnership with the Brewers, one that will pay dividends on many different levels."
Aurora Health Care branding elements will be visible throughout the ballpark, including the naming rights partner for the "Aurora Health Care Bullpen," the 75-person all-inclusive group area located behind the right field fence at Miller Park (formerly known as the Right Field Patio).
Finally, Aurora will become a member of the Brewers Community Foundation Leadership Council, which supports a variety of active community initiatives throughout the year, including Drive for Charity, the Famous Racing Sausages 5K Run/Walk, and the Brewers Community Foundation Ultimate Auction in May.
"From our clinical experts helping people in need to the importance of healthy choices all the way to our commitment to giving back to the diverse populations across our region, our new work with the Milwaukee Brewers is a natural extension of Aurora Health Care's branded tagline 'We're With You,'" added Brophy."
