The Oakland A's outrighted left-handed pitcher Danny Coulombe to Triple-A Nashville, the club announced today. Coulombe was designated for assignment on Monday when the A's acquired right-handed pitcher Aaron Brooks from Milwaukee.
Coulombe was recalled from Triple-A Nashville Sept. 1 for his fourth stint with the A's this year and allowed a hit without retiring a batter in his only outing last Saturday against Seattle. He was 1-1 with a 4.56 ERA and .279 opponents batting average in 27 relief appearances with Oakland overall.
