2025 Phillies Spring Training Schedule and Prospects Breakout Game Announced

In conjunction with Major League Baseball, the Phillies have announced their 2025 Spring Training schedule.

Spring Training for the Phillies officially gets underway on February 22, as the team takes on the Detroit Tigers in Lakeland, Fla. The next day the Phillies will make their first appearance at BayCare Ballpark, where they will host the Baltimore Orioles for their Grapefruit League Home Opener on February 23, followed by the Pittsburgh Pirates on February 24.

The Phillies will play 16 of their 31 Spring Training games at BayCare Ballpark. In addition to two more matchups against the Orioles (split squad on March 2 and another game March 9), home opponents will also include the New York Yankees (February 27, March 4 and March 19), Boston Red Sox (February 28), Tampa Bay Rays (March 6), Atlanta Braves (March 13), and another matchup against the Tigers (March 15).

The team will also host the Toronto Blue Jays for their annual St. Patrick’s Day game (March 17), along with a split squad game against the Minnesota Twins (March 21).

Another Spring Training highlight is the Breakout Game on March 14, when Phillies prospects will face Pirates prospects during a fun matchup at BayCare Ballpark.

On Monday, March 24, the Phillies will close out their Spring Training schedule at home with one final game against the Rays.

Three days later the team will begin its 2025 regular season on the road, with its first game against the Washington Nationals on March 27. The Phillies will then host the Colorado Rockies for their Home Opener on March 31 at Citizens Bank Park.
